Archbishop O’Leary High School, Resource Centre

Archbishop O’Leary High School, Resource Centre

The resource centre was an equivalent replacement for the library. It was envisioned as an area to encourage student interaction and learning without the restrictive standards of a library. Here students are able to congregate in specially placed seating to do group assignments, work together or as individuals. Also available is a quiet area for focused reading behind a glazed curved partition. The resource centre environment allows for a variety of learning activities.

Materials are primarily drywall on steel studs, glass and specialized millwork for seating, shelving and checkout counters.
